Landscape generation using reference image
This is an experiment using Generative AI to manipulate a photo. Here I’ve used Adobe Firefly, and Photoshop to add elements to a landscape photo I took.
You’ll see my original, then two iterations that tell a fictional story about changes to a landscape from the past to the future.
This is the original photo I took showing a typical Australian landscape.
Taking the original image, I placed a castle on the hill. The castle was generated in Adobe Firefly using my original image as a reference for both structure, and style. I then opened the image in Photoshop to convert it to black and white. I added some noise, and dust and scratches to make the photo look old.
Again, starting with my original photo I generated a futuristic building using Adobe Firefly.
