Yep the more I see of this movie the more excited I get for it. Watchman was so heavy that I fear the story was too heavy for most peolpe TBH. I’m not saying peolpe are stupid, but the philosophy and the references to American history (and recognizing what the story changed) probably went over the heads of most of the kids who liked the movie for the visuals and the story telling style. 300, which I honestly don’t know a person who doesn’t have it in their dvd library, was really only as fantastic was it was because of how it was delivered. The dialogue in that movie was extremely ordinary and even predictable. But again it was the visuals and the presentation that made it as awesome as it is. Of course there was the underlying theme to the movie as well, but it was great deal more obvious. I think Sucker Punch will be exactly like the other two. So visually appealing in the manner in which it is presented that as long as the story itself remains sound the dialogue will take a backseat. I too am actually looking forward to what the underlying story will be. The fact that it’s going to be wrapped up in smoking hawt women and a steampunk-sci-fi-fantasy world just makes it that much sweeter.
