I was lucky enough to see Comet McNaught tonight. It will be visible for some weeks to come, then we won’t get another chance for 30 years!
> C/2006 P1, also known as Comet McNaught or the Great Comet of 2007, is a non-periodic comet discovered on August 7, 2006 by Robert H. McNaught.
> It made perihelion on January 12, 2007, and became easily visible to the naked eye for observers in the Southern Hemisphere.
