Further to my last post on this subject, there’s another option for running another OS on a Mac.
[Check out Q](http://www.kberg.ch/q/)
> Run Windows, Linux and a lot more Systems on your Mac. Q is a feature packed cocoa port of QEMU: Switch fast between guest PCs. Save and restart guest PCs at any stage. Easily exchange Files between Host and Guest. Q makes use of OS X most advanced technologies like openGL, quartz and coreaudio to accelerate your experience with your guest PC. Please remember: At the present state, [QEMU](http://www.qemu.org/) is still considered ALPHA software.
According to the blurb on the site, this is the first ‘more or less stable’ universal build of Q.
Note: They say they’re still having some problems with some hardware and windows.
Well duh.. Windows isn’t designed to be used. 🙂
Anyway, if you want to test some stuff, and have a copy of another OS lying around. Give it a try then leave a comment here please. I and others would be interested in your experience with this software.
I don’t know about Q, but I’ve been testing out Parallels for the last week or so and it works fine. Great for testing Websites.
I think I’m gonna have to optimize my drive and get my friend Ray to test out a few PC games on it 😉 Fun. LOL. Apparently I’ll be blown away by the speed and the rendering goodness. LOL.
Your post is on target. Keep it up.
