Adam has drawn our attention to the plight of David Hicks.

> Whether or not David Hicks is guilty of a crime has yet to be determined. He has been kept in a US military prison in Cuba for 4.5 years during which time all other western countries have removed their citizens.

So, why hasn’t the Australian government taken any positive action? Perhaps because they’re too busy locking up children in [detention centres](http://www.refugeeaction.org/inside/baxter_visit.htm), or [promoting war](http://www.abc.net.au/news/newsitems/200608/s1703318.htm) …
